Divestment Campaign

Ealing Council’s
£112,896,000
Ties To Genocide

They tell us this is a
“borough of sanctuary”

But behind closed doors, Ealing Council is investing your council tax in companies that supply weapons to Israel, build illegal settlements in the West Bank, and finance the military occupation, destruction, and ethnic cleansing of Gaza.

This is complicity in genocide.

These investments come from the Local Government Pension Scheme – funded by the deferred wages of Ealing’s teachers, school staff, and council workers. Wages paid for by you, managed by them, invested in war.

“Remain strictly neutral.”

This is what one Ealing councillor said in an automated email response to hundreds of concerned residents who wrote in. But what does neutrality mean, when the Council’s Pension Fund pours over £112 million into firms fuelling occupation, apartheid, and slaughter?

This “neutrality” is a lie. It’s a shield for inaction. A cover for complicity. And people in Gaza are being bombed, maimed, and killed while our elected officials hide behind it.

Lady Justice Unmasked.

Once held as a symbol of fairness and law, Lady Justice now stands exposed. Palestine has pulled back the curtain and revealed her to be a hollow figure. A façade to justify imperial violence and the West’s interests. Ealing Council’s actions prove it: profit placed above principle, freedom, and life.

Other boroughs such as Oxford, Waltham Forest, Tower Hamlets have pledged to divest. Councillors in Kingston have voted unanimously to start the divestment process. Ealing Council refuses. Why?

We are asking. We are watching. We are organising.

Not in our name. Not with our money.
